Taste tests rule.

Worst Cooks in America fascinates me.

• It’s a cooking competition show.
• Two top chefs train really bad cooks.
• To eventually cook on their behalf.

Last night the chefs put the cooks through two challenges.

• Each time several bombed.
• They didn’t bother to taste their cooking.
• And yet presented plates to the chefs.

Food was too seasoned - or had no flavor.

• A simple taste was all they needed.
• Easy to adjust.
• Could transform their cooking output.

Worst Cooks in America is more than a cooking show.

• It’s also a leadership workshop.
• Too often leaders totally embrace a new idea.
• Without bothering to test to see how it really works.

Can’t wait to see what I learn next week!

Makes me think of chapter leaders…how do you give new ideas a taste test before totally adopting them for your chapter?
