Comcast as a Wake Up Service?

No thanks.
It was 6:35 AM on Saturday.
- I was happily sleeping.
- In a comfy bed.
- Enjoying no schedule.
My phone rang.
- My heart clenched
- It was too early for normal calls.
- Was something wrong with my parents?
No, it was Comcast.
- A chipper young woman.
- Launched into a scripted survey.
- Totally clueless.
“Why are you calling me at 6:35 AM?”
- She was confused.
- My record said I live in Michigan.
- She didn’t know I was sleeping in Seattle.
She offered to call me back later.
- I growled a response.
- Wasn’t quite awake enough yet.
- To be my normal perky self.
Usually I’m a Comcast fan - this morning not so much.
Makes me think of chapter leaders…do you assume you know what is going on in the lives of your members?
