Are you?

James and I have belonged to the same organization for several years.

• We usually attend general meetings together.
• But not always.
• We volunteer in different ways.

They only send us one newsletter via snail mail.

• That’s okay.
• They save postage and paper.
• We share.

Just learned they are also sending only one email.

• To James.
• Not me.
• On a weekly basis!

What are they thinking?

• They have both our emails.
• Why send only to him?
• It doesn’t save anything - and has cost plenty!

James has never forwarded the weekly news to me.

• Nor mentioned it to me.
• He thought I was getting it.
• (Wouldn’t you?)

I’m disappointed.

• I traveled hard this fall.
• Didn’t feel connected due to being out of town.
• Getting the weekly scoop would have helped.

Did they really think I was psychic?

Makes me think of chapter leaders…how do you make sure your communications reach all your members?
