Southern Hospitality is Not a Myth
I’ve been in Atlanta for 48 hours.
- Some of the nicest 48 hours in a long time.
- From the moment I arrived in airport.
- To the present.
I decided to take the MARTA rails to my hotel.
- Had two employees help me get my card.
- The train was clean.
- Fellow riders were welcoming.
My hotel arrival experience was the same.
- From the bellman who personally introduced himself.
- The staff assisting with my kiosk check in.
- To the manager who adjusted my room to get me what I wanted.
I could go on and on.
- Overall, it was a bunch of little things.
- I felt like a team of people were looking out for me.
- And really enjoyed it.
I didn’t get to leave the hotel much.
- So not sure if it’s just a Hyatt Atlanta standard.
- Or the hospitality of Atlanta shining through.
- Either way, hope I get booked to speak here again soon.
Makes me think of chapter leaders…what kind of hospitality do you offer your guests?
