Are You YouTube Worthy?
A wedding party dances down the aisle.
- Maybe 200 guests see it live.
- Over 10 million people watch the video on YouTube.
- (If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s here.)
The video made me smile.
- It looked like they were having fun.
- The energy was infectious.
- I wished I was there.
Pondering recent chapter events I’ve attended…
- Few had interesting visual elements.
- No great surpluses of energy.
- Some may not give watching paint dry a run for its money.
The dancing wedding entrance shows the power of dynamic experiences.
- Transforming a traditional part of a meeting.
- Into the unpredictable.
- And fun to join into as well.
Am I suggesting all meetings need dancing to be a success?
- Not literally.
- They do need to be compelling.
- (You get bonus points for creative expression.)
Makes me think of chapter leaders…are your chapter events YouTube worthy - or at least dynamic experiences members want to talk about?
