An American Helper Was Promised
Worked on my website today.
- Doing some major makeover.
- Again.
- (Keeps me out of trouble.)
Attempted to log on to the control panel.
- Needed to clean up my work for day.
- So folks who saw my half-done site wouldn’t wonder about me.
- Kept getting a blank page. (UGH.)
Called tech support.
- The recording told me they had lots of callers.
- Offered alternative ways to get help.
- And promised me an English-speaking helper based in America.
Based in America?
- How different is that?
- No disrespect to those who work hard in India.
- But I have always had a hard time understanding their accent.
I didn’t mind my almost 60-second wait.
- I knew I’d be able to understand my tech person.
- And they’d be able to help me.
- Plus, let’s be real, the short wait was nice too!
I love how BlueHost always gives me exactly what I need - and want!
Makes me think of chapter leaders…do you give your members what they need and want in their chapter experience?
