The Lazy Leader Transforms America
Have you ever challenged yourself to really stretch your comfort zones?
- Where it almost hurts?
- And you have no idea how you will pull everything off?
- That’s what I did.
A little over a month ago, I decided I was tired of all the negative news.
- Unemployment rising.
- Jobs disappearing.
- World sucks.
I decided it was time to do what I can.
- I know America’s solutions will come when smart people gather.
- Morale will be boosted.
- And innovation fueled.
Strong local chapters can play an important role in the recovery.
- Lots of people want to volunteer.
- To be part of something bigger than themselves.
- But too many chapter leaders have a martyr mentality, do everything themselves - and leave no room for new people to participate.
My personal way to help America’s struggling economy was clear as a bell.
- The more chapter leaders who adopt a Lazy Leader approach.
- The more members will be involved.
- The sooner we will have the answers we need.
So I’m launching a 10-week, 30-city tour this fall.
- Goal is to train 5,000 leaders in 2-hour public programs.
- And impact 250,000+ volunteers.
- (While keeping all my other balls in the air too.)
The Lazy Leader Transforms America - One Volunteer at a Time!
- The tour information went up last night.
- We are now looking for local host teams.

Some days I feel like I’m crazy doing this.
- And most days am excited over the moon.
- I’m thankful for the 30 some volunteers who are already helping out.
- There will be even more to do moving forward.
Together we WILL transform America - will you join us in creating the solutions?
Makes me think of chapter leaders - what stretch projects are you working on this fall?
