P.I. Podcast: Interview with Marty Neumeier

This week, Marty Neumeier, author of The Designful Company: How to Build a Culture of Non-Stop Innovation, is participating in the Idea Sandbox Post2Post Virtual Book Tour, organized by fellow blogger Paul Williams. This is the third time I’ve hosted a stop on the book tour, and it was a great pleasure to chat with Marty about his excellent new book.
During our conversation, I ask Marty about his focus on wicked problems and design thinking, as well as how to defeat the usual leadership excuses for not pursuing innovation during difficult times. This is a great book, and well worth your time to read. It has inspired some new thinking for me, and I’m sure it will for you as well.
The podcast is just over 18 minutes in length. (I know, quite a change of pace from the last few!) If you’re viewing this post on the P.I. Blog, you will see an embedded podcast player below. You can download the podcast here.
If you’re receiving this post by e-mail or RSS, you will see a second download link below. (17 MB download)
As always, I welcome your comments, feedback and suggestions for future guests on the podcast. I’m working to schedule new podcast interviews for May, so stay tuned!
