I’m in the Doghouse Again

Not fair!
It started a few days ago.
- I could tell they were near.
- But I didn’t get to investigate.
- Dad kept me busy.
Today I got my chance.
- First I helped Dad mow the yard.
- Then we barbequed dinner together.
- Which meant I got to explore the backyard.
Dad left me alone for a few minutes.
- He took the meat in the house.
- It was all the time I needed.
Not too far from the grill I found them!
- Right against the house.
- A nest of baby bunnies!
- YUM!
Of course, just as I uncovered my prize, Dad stormed out of the house.
- He yelled at me to get away.
- I was so close…
- Instead I’m in trouble.
I knew there was treasure out there!
As Mom always says, makes me think of chapter leaders…do you know what treasures are hidden in your chapter?
