Need a passport in a hurry? Apply Saturday and no expedited fees apply.
According to today's Washington Post, Saturday is Passport Day in the USA and "the one day which appointments and expedite fees are not required for those applying at a passport agency." For hours of operation and info on participating offices, go to http://www.travel.state.gov.
