So we got there early.

Tonight we attended the UM Women’s Basketball game.

• It was a pink game.
• Fundraiser for Women’s Health Center
• Lots of things to do pregame.

Plus, the first 1,000 people there got pom poms!

• It’s much more fun to have toys to help cheer the team on.
• We made the cut.
• And got our shiny pink pom poms.

I began to do some cost analysis in my head.

• The toys might have cost $250 for all.
• No logos on them.
• Just shiny strips stapled to a sturdy straw.

That $250 brought in hundreds of people at least 30 minutes prior to tip off.

• They had time to buy snacks.
• Buy pink shirts.
• Buy UM fan stuff.

Tons more money made than if everyone arrived just before the game started!

Makes me think of chapter leaders…what incentives do you give members to show up early for your meetings?
