From my friends!

Today I finally turned in the manuscript for my new book, The Lazy Leader’s Guide to Outrageous Results.

• In the book I take on the 110% martyr culture for volunteer leaders.
• It’s the seventh - and best book I’ve written to date.

The process for this book was dramatically different than my other books.

• I invited volunteers to join me in the creative process.
• Instead of one grammar editor, I had 14 content editors.
• Each challenged me in different ways.

The resulting book is much more spectacular than I could have created in isolation.

There was more than just the writing process going on.

• It was also a learning experience for me.
• As a volunteer leader, I love to include others.
• As a subject matter expert, I strive to stay ahead of my game.

To stay in integrity, I wanted to embrace the Lazy Leader concept more.

• I invited others to join my adventure.
• I asked for support when my battery ran low.
• And I invited everyone to celebrate when the book was done.

What fascinated me was how excited everyone has been to be part of my party.

• I have never felt so supported and loved.
• I never asked for so specifically before.
• I am humbled by the response.

If I didn’t sell a single copy, the personal ah-has would be worth the investment.

(Luckily the books are selling like hotcakes, so it’s not an issue.)

I am truly a rich woman in life.
