Learning 2.0 and the Future of Your Association - Webinar

Learning 2.0 is the trendy “2.0″ term being used to describe the blending of traditional education practices with social media tools like blogs, wikis, and social networking. I first presented on the topic a year or so ago (see: Learning 2.0 for Associations on Slideshare) and have also written a free eBook about it. The buzz, however, has grown audibly louder lately. Look for a resource round-up here soon, but in the meantime, I’ll note that I will be doing a free Webinar on the topic in early November.

The Webinar is part of Boston Conferencing’s Thought Leadership series, and here are the description and registration details:

Not sure where or how to get started with social media? You may want to look to your professional education programs for the proverbial “low-hanging fruit”. Tools like YouTube, wikis, blogs, and social networks offer a natural complement to traditional face-to-face and online learning programs. They also represent a powerful new way to attract and engage members and take your association into the future. In this session we’ll consider how Web 2.0 has changed the way learning happens and look at specific steps you can take to blend social media into your member education programs.

The free session will take place on Tuesday, November 4 at 12:00 eastern and will run for approximately 60 minutes. Please register  and join me!
