The little article that could.
Fellow SocialFish Maddie Grant and I had an article published in the September issue of Associations Now. It's called Why Doesn't Anyone Comment on Your Blog? and the feedback we've gotten has been tremendous.Thank you to the 16 beautiful people who rated and commented on the article.
And thank you to ASAE, especially Amy Hissrich, for showing the power of listening online when you heard Maddie's plea and corrected a glitch so that we can now read all of the comments. Kudos!
The article itself covers a wide range of considerations for times when getting people to comment is your top priority. I should mention that not all successful blogs attract a lot of comments. That's OK. But if you feel that your blog should make people want to add their two cents, this article will be a useful guide.
Also check out our bibliography that includes...
- examples of association blogs that get a good number of comments
- links to great articles about blogging
- and the fabulous slide presentation created by Rohit Bhargava and Jesse Thomas of Ogilvy.
