I’m a marketing junkie. And I’m a total nerd for association work. I’m also a bit of a techie. That’s quite a combo, right? Perfect for a SocialFish like me. The Association Marketing Springboard started in 2007 as a place for me to record my ideas and grow professionally. Over time, I realized that the biggest marketing opportunities out there are being enabled by technology…and most organizations are missing out! Today, the Springboard is a place for me to pass along the power of marketing techniques that integrate social technologies...and connect with some amazing people along the way.

I’m a SocialFish

I'm thrilled to announce that Maddie Grant and I have launched our own company, SocialFish, LLC. SocialFish helps associations make the most out of social media. We bridge the gap between technology and implementation. That's fancy talk for "we'll show you how to make your shiny new tools work for your audience."

Why are we doing it? Because "if you build it, they will come" only works in the movies. Because we live and breathe social media every day, and we believe that associations should, too. Because we have answers for the questions that keep popping up...Where do we start? Is it time to re-evaluate? Why is our social media initiative underperforming? Because the association community needs this.

There you have it. A new company for a new way of interacting with your members and your industry. And check out my fancy new title. Chief Social Media Marketer. Pretty cool, right?
